I’m Kaitlin Frank. I’m a superintendent for Dome Construction.
I use my iPad for everything. It’s allowed me to be anywhere on the jobsite and be connected to everything that I need to run the jobsite.
Connected Construction is eliminating that island feel as a superintendent when you’re on the jobsite. And bringing together your project manager, your operational staff, your design teams, your MEP teams and bringing everyone into one space.
Having the integrated capabilities is going to allow for less miscommunication and having everyone come back to this one connected point where we can all communicate, we can see the workflows, and everything is right there.
Not having the latest information in real-time, it not only has an impact on construction, it has an impact on morale. Having the latest and greatest information right there and then, it changes the way we build.
